Price adjustment and supply delays for Komori products

Oct. 15, 2021

Komori Corporation (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Satoshi Mochida) will revise prices for printing presses and parts.

In addition to the recent sharp increase in materials prices, distribution and labor costs have continued to rise. To provide a stable supply of printing presses and other products to the market, Komori has worked to maintain product prices by continuing to cut costs through improved production efficiency and reduced manufacturing expenses. However, it has been difficult to maintain product prices by these efforts alone, and Komori will revise prices.

Because of production stoppages due to a fire at a semiconductor manufacturer in Japan and lockdowns caused by COVID-19 in emerging countries, there are delays in the arrival of electrical parts and procurement is difficult. As in other industries, Komori's manufacturing is delayed, and deliveries are being held up.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing to customers waiting for our products. While we will continue to make every effort to secure the necessary parts and deliver the products to our customers as soon as possible, it may take some time before products are delivered.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to your continued patronage of Komori products.
