OUTLINE OF BUSINESS

Main Business
Komori Group manufactures and sells printing equipments, primarily offset printing presses and precision printing machinery for currency and securities production. Offset presses are classified as either web offset presses or sheet-fed presses, depending on the form of the stock.
As manufacturing plants, we have the Toride Plant and the Tsukuba Plant, which, produce mid-sized sheet-fed presses, while the Sekiyado Plant produces Komori’s large sheet-fed and web presses along with other machinery under order received bases. Small-format sheet-fed presses are manufactured by KOMORI　Machinery　Co.,LTD. The manufacturing plant abroad is located in France. Komori-Chambon S.A. of Orléans, France produces packaging printing systems.
For sales and services, Komori has built a network in Japan consisting of the Tokyo Head Office, the branches in Osaka, Nagoya, and Kyushu and the sales offices in Hokkaido and Tohoku, Takasaki, Hokuriku, and Chugoku regions. Internationally, Europe is integrated by Komori International (Europe) B.V., which coordinates the sales and service activities of our subsidiaries in the U.K., the Netherlands, France, and Italy. In the United States, Komori America Corporation in Illinois directs Komori's North American operations, which consists of three regions and each region is responsible for performing the sales and service activities.
Also in Asia, Komori Hong Kong Ltd. integrates Hong Kong and Chinese operations, while Komori International Trading (Shenzhen) Company Ltd. is in charge of Chinese market and also Komori Taiwan Ltd. is responsible for performing the same marketing tasks in Taiwan.
