On July 5, 2010, the number of visitors to the Tsukuba Plant exceeded 10,000 in the four years and seven months since the completion of the second phase of construction. The 10,000th visitor was among a party of four major printing companies (Prol, Santa Marta, Tarfc, and Universal) who came all the way from Brazil together with Komoriís Brazilian distributor Gutenberg. A small commemoration ceremony was held to celebrate the breaking of the 10,000-visitor mark. The party of visitors were surprised by the round of applause they received from Komori executives and staff on their arrival at the plant and very happy when they learned that they were the 10,000th visitor. Komori Corporation President, Chairman and CEO Yoshiharu Komori celebrated the breaking of the 10,000-visitor mark by presenting the guests with a bouquet of flowers and mementos and taking a commemorative photograph.
The plant will continue to spare no effort in developing products that provide kando and full satisfaction to customers and is looking forward to greeting more visitors.
